# Help! Beginner...trying to make embossed cutter

Hi - Cookiecad exists so that you don’t have to take a cad course 😁.

The short version is, write the words you want in any image editor in a thick font (like arial black), put an outline around it, then upload to cookiecad. You can even do this in a word processer and take a screenshot,
