Continuing the discussion from Cutter Blade Splitting:

I also have this problem and am very new to printing my own cookie cutters at the local library using MakerBot. I haven’t been able to get much library staff support as they are not familiar with Cookie Cad. The belts have been checked though.

Once I get the .stl download from CookieCad – are there other steps I need to do in the MakerBot software to prevent this? Or do I need a “slicer” software to do additional steps?

A photo of the issue would help. It is most likely that a splitting blade is caused by a printer issue.

I would say it’s a printing issue, maybe under extruding? Play around with your z offset
