why would my filament stop half way through a print, it works perfecting then bam half way through it stops feeding, I’ve checked the nozzle and not clogged, also the filament feeder is making a clunging noise, when I lower the speed it still does it

This sounds like heat creep. Heat creep is where the cold part of the hotend warms up and then the filament gets stuck there. Make sure your hotend fan is spinning and if its dirty, clean it.
