There isn’t an official way but here is a workaround that will do it:
Make the circle be as thick as you want the handle to be:
Then set handle width to 0, so there is no handle - instead we will use the imprint as the handle. Set imprint depth to the cutter depth - a few mm, in this case I set it to 15.

You can adjust the thickness of this “handle” by changing the thickness of the image - or you can use experimental settings → change imprint thickness:
