What is the best imprint depth for cutters?
I don’t want to cut inside only imprint inside the cutter.
It depends if it is for fondant, dough or clay. If it for dough, it depends how thick you roll your dough. The default is 4.5 mm which is just over 1/6th of an inch so if you roll your dough thicker than that you will get an imprint. The best move is to avoid the question entirely and make a two piece cutter + stamp instead of an imprint cutter. Stamp first, then cut out the stamped area with the cutter. This way the same cutter / stamp can be used for fondant or dough.
Its for clay, and I have try different depth but they are not close enough or they cut the clay.
Try switching to cutter + stamp instead. Stamp the clay, then cut it out. This way you don’t have to worry about the imprint depth.
Yes, but I think is takes more filament, and is the cutter for imprint is like a pumpkin(divisions) I think I can do it like that.
I had a doubt about the thickness of dough for biscuits. My dough is usually 5mm thick, but with the default setting I could only cut, the print almost didn’t come out. I did some experiments and the best configuration was with 3mm.
