My first reel of filament printed fairly smooth against the bed. My second reel is really rough. Neither cutter in the picture has been sanded yet but the smooth one does sand out nice, the other not so much. What can I do to fix it??
The nozzle is further from the bed on the one on the right. If you would like it to be smoother you would need to move the nozzle closer (bed leveling) or adjust z offset.
I would also recommend they turn off the setting to print with a brim and use a skirt or purge line instead - that way you won’t have to peel off that outer brim on each cutter.
